To Go!

Believe it or not, there is more to Southview Seventh Day Adventist church than what you see on Sabbath morning! We have several choir practices, Pathfinder ministry, youth ministry, young adult ministry, there are folks visiting nursing homes, bible study meetings even in times when we do not have our own facility.

The ministry and mission of our church take place because of the spiritual and financial gifts our members and friends choose to offer. These are the resources that fuel our mission; and yes, it does cost real money to provide these spiritual things!

I am excited about Southview because I believe that our members are committed to being genuine disciples of Christ. As a congregation, we are seeking to be fed spiritually and to actively engage the world where its deepest needs meet our abilities, and with God’s help, make a difference for good.

The Planting Our Future campaign gets to the heart of the issue. I want to invite you join us in giving a gift to this campaign as we pursue the vision God has given us. Every time we give, that gift becomes ministry and mission. Please keep our congregation in prayer as we move together toward discerning what gifts we will make in the near future.

Again, thank you for your part in the life changing work of Southview Seventh Day Adventist church.

Generously Yours,

Pastor Sean Lee

Why Are We Raising Funds For A Larger Building?

Planting Our Future through Life Groups

Creative ministry during the week: free seminars for the community, retreats, free flu shot clinics and more. A place where we will transform lives and be transformed by the love of God at the same time.

Planting Our Future through Bible Study

Additional rooms will provide space for new adult classes on Sabbath morning. Nearly every major revival in the Christian church has been associated with a return to the establishment of many small groups.

Planting Our Future Through Children’s Ministry

Larger children’s Sabbath school classes will provide an opportunity for all children to attend classes, increase security, provide nearby restrooms and alleviate weekly setup and teardown of children classrooms.

Planting Our Future through Worship

A larger sanctuary for worship will fuel and develop our relationship with God. It will provide a space to connect with God, and discover that He takes the time to reply and transform us with His love.

Planting Our Future

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:12

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
